The fleets grow...

The two small fleets are taking shape, I've got the process mostly figured out now, and can put a ship together to this level in one or two evenings. They still need detailing on the bases and varnishing, then rigging (ouch) with thread and flags. The photo's in order:

1) Two French 3rd raters from the stern

2) Two British 3rd rates from the stern, with different checkerboard painting styles.

3) The two French ships from off the bow.

4) The British ships from off the bow.

Cheese onna stick, guv'nor?

The all new Imperial Guard Valkyrie, assembled and painted (red for some reason).

Apparently they can field up to nine of these in a list, rather like ringwraiths. There seem to be more and more killy items that can't be lash of submissioned coming out, this bodes ill for my cheesy beardy daemon princes...

Row row row your boat

My first project in Napoleonic naval warfare in 1:1200 scale. Makes you realise how bad your eyes are :)

This is the HMS Bellerophon, I'm missing a sail or two and need to do the rigging and ratlines (and obviously paint the base.

One partially down, twelve to go...
